​AWANA is an exciting children’s ministry designed to help kids know, love, and serve Jesus Christ. Each week, children have the opportunity to learn more about God and His Word in an environment that is fun, welcoming, and centered on biblical truth.

Through Bible teaching, Scripture memory, games, and activities, AWANA encourages children to build a strong foundation of faith that can stay with them for a lifetime. Our goal is not simply for kids to learn Bible verses, but to help them understand God’s Word and see how it applies to their everyday lives.

At First Baptist Church, we want AWANA to be a place where children are loved, encouraged, challenged, and excited to come back each week. Whether your family has been part of our church for years or you’re visiting for the very first time, we would love to have your children join us!
